
Nawel Bailey Rojkjaer
Nawel holds both Political Science and Law degrees (civil and common law) from McGill University, Montreal Canada. Currently living in Denmark, she has worked throughout her career at the intersection of private enterprise and human rights, including with industry, governments, the United Nations and NGOs on international affairs, trade law, IP & TRIPs and human rights. She has led key trade negotiations on behalf of industry and headed global affairs for large and small companies. As the head of International Affairs for multiple pharmaceutical companies, she has navigated the complexities of new market entry and growth, trade agreements and law, government affairs and supply chain strategies - all through the lens of social impact. Her earlier experience as a litigator with a leading Toronto law firm provided extensive experience in due diligence and advocacy. Nawel’s focus is on helping companies develop, implement and manage Human Rights DD/social sustainability and reporting practices in the new regulatory landscape.
